SPOIO Inc. was founded in December of 2008 in Virginia Beach,Virginia.USA by
Lionel "Luciano Illuminati" White. He serves as the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of SPOIO Publishing. The company was built from the remnants of SmartPeopleOrderItOnline Inc. (Feb. 2007 - June 2008).
The first service to be rolled out in December 2008 was the third-party seller shopping site: www.SPOIO.com. The wireless service directory: SPOIO Wireless was the next to come. SPOIO Info had been established before by SmartPeopleOrderItOnline Inc. and was now incorporated into the SPOIO company strategy.
In January 2009, the publishing unit: SPOIO Publishing of the media division was born.
